Fanuc Robotics Awards DAC Integrator Growth and Sales Excellence Awards

03/10/2010 - Design & Assembly Concepts, Inc. (DAC) received two prestigious awards for performance from FANUC Robotics of America. The awards were presented at the FANUC Robotics Integrator Conference in Orlando, Florida and were the “Integrator Growth Award” for more than 50% growth in 2009 and the second award was the “Sales Excellence Award” for annual sales of twenty five or more robot units in 2009. This was the second time for DAC to be awarded the “Integrator Growth Award” which DAC also received for the year 2008.

DAC is ranked as a Level IV Certified Integrator for FANUC Robotics of America which is the highest achievement level in their integrator program and is now at the top in volume sales for FANUC Robotics West which includes the states of Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, Texas Louisiana and Oklahoma.

DAC recently celebrated 13 years as a vertically integrated automation company with expertise in the design and fabrication of custom automated equipment with a focus on robotics, motion and vision systems.    DAC markets these products in North America and the Pacific Rim. The headquarters is located in Leander, Texas with 26,000 square feet of space for engineering, fabrication, and manufacturing.

DAC Signs item International Distributor Agreement

08/01/2009 - item International officially contracted with Design & Assembly Concepts Inc. (DAC) as their fourth distributor in the United States.  Working in a key geographical area and strategically located in the immediate vicinity of customers, DAC will take on three main areas of activity: sales, service and manufacturing customer solutions. The new Texas based Distributor boasts modern infrastructure, warehouse facilities and product support with the aim of not only ensuring goods are more readily available, but also realizing applications exactly according to customers’ specifications. In this respect, DAC can offer everything from straightforward Building Kit elements to construction kits, right through to complete solutions.

With the growing demands and expectations of item customers, item international and DAC are now better positioned than ever before to provide the item MB Building Kit Systems.

item international’s world headquarters is based in Solingen, Germany,  and  is the developer and global supplier of the MB Building Kit System. The system is based on aluminium profiles, harmonised connection technology and diverse functional components, making it suitable for all types of structures involved in the construction of production machinery.

DAC is located in Leander, Texas and is a custom machine builder with in-house design, engineering and manufacturing. DAC serves the USA market as well as Mexico, Canada and Asia.
